Fait Maison South Kensington

A Sense of Style  Daily Scribbles   Fait Maison South Kensington

Fait Maison South Kensington

After checking into our hotel, we roamed around the streets of South Kensington in search for a place to sit and relax, where we could replenishing our energy. We noticed a very quaint and cute Salon de Thé that was decorated in flower vines. The flowery decor was pretty. It felt like we were walking into a flower garden tea party. Fait Maison is a French and Mediterranean salon de Thé with a “wealth of influences from Palestine, the Middle East and the Mediterranean.”

We were seated at table 8, and I was completely excited about the number. If you know me well, then you know that I love the number 8 because it represents balance, which means that it is the number of balancing both the material and spiritual aspects of our experience. Not to mention, it also symbolizes the infinity loop. I was very stoked. One of my many amusements.

The food was refreshing and it was a delightful experience to kick start our vacation. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any room for desserts. If we were to be back in the area again, I would definitely come back to visit for their pastries and afternoon tea.
