Trattoria Carina Brunch

Brunch at Trattoria Carina was splendid. I love their quaint and intimate decor and space. I also love how bright and cheerful the atmosphere feels when we walked in. It’s a hidden gem among many located in Center City. I’m so glad I came across it in Open Table, while researching for a place to have brunch with a group of friends.

We started out with several appetizers to share. Instantly, the girls and I fell in love with the deliciously warm Date Cake that towards the end for desserts, we asked to have another one to share. Hehe… It was simply too good not to have seconds. I just wish this place was closer to us so I could swing in and dine.

Once the main courses started coming in, what also stroke our cords was their Gemelli Pasta. It was so good that it stood out from the rest of the dishes we selected. Anything with Pesto is always good. I am a fan!

On the Menu:

• Piave honeycomb
• Date Cake almond glaze
• Chopped Salad soppressata, chickpeas, olives, pecorino
• Bruschetta whipped butternut squash, mushrooms, verigoat
• Spaghetti Pomodoro marinara, basil, parmesan
• Gemelli pistachio pesto, basil, meyer lemon
• Breakfast Sandwich fried egg, fennel sausage, secret sauce, mozzarella, brioche

Our overall experience was great. I had a lot of fun dining with my friends and loved ones. Especially, over delicious food and in a wonderful dining atmosphere. It just makes the day bright and more memorable. So, thank you, Trattoria Carina for a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to come back to try out the other items on the menu that we didn’t get a chance to taste!
