The Happy Place at KOP

This is my second time experiencing the interactive pop-up exhibition. The first time I went, I didn’t have an enjoyable experience since my son was not old enough to be fascinated by the creative spaces. Not to mention, he was running around pulling things and climbing on random places. Trying to have him sit still to take photos was a bit frustrating. At this age, all he wanted to do was run around. While Stan and I were chasing our son, I took notes and spotted a few photographic opportunities. I reached out to my sister and friends to see if they would like to check the exibit out and take some photos. They were on board with the idea, so we made it into a Girls Day Out. I was super excited!

Before we headed over to the KOP Mall where the Happy Place was being held, we decided to get our hair done at the Dry Bar. The Dry Bar is located in the KOP Town Square, not far from the mall. Afterwards, we went to grab a quick bite at Qu Japan before we made our way to the Happy Place. I left my card in the card reader after paying for my meal, and didn’t realize it until one of the worker came to our table where we were eating to ask if I had forgotten my card. OMG! I would have freaked out once I realized my card was missing. I’m so glad they noticed it and return the card to me.

We literally spent about an 1.5 hours at the exhibition. During our time there, only a few people enter the exhibit. We took advantage of this opportunity to shoot some incredible photos, and amuse ourselves with our surrounding. Selene and I are were more photography focus, so we thank Ling and Au for being such a trooper. It was definitely a lot of fun to good around and shoot some instagram-worthy photos that we could share in our social media. It’s even more rewarding when everyone is enjoying the exhibit and having fun with it.

My only criticism was that I wish they had install each photo booth camera at each installation so visitors could easily take group photos. They had one photo booth at the end of the experience, which wasn’t there the first day that I went. It would have been nice if they had added it on the first day, which would have given me an opportunity to take a group photo with my son. That would have been a nice keepsake. Overall, the second time I went was fun.
